The Prime Minister, Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, informs that this morning, H.R.H. the Grand Duke has discharged, at her own request, Carole Dieschbourg, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development.

Joëlle Welfring was sworn in as a new member of the government. She has been appointed Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development.

On 22 April 2022, the remit of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development was temporarily assigned to Claude Turmes, Minister for Energy and Minister for Spatial Planning. This temporary assignment came to an end this morning.
